COLUMBUS, OHIO (September 16, 2009) – Imagine grandma’s dining room table all decked-out with the finest linens and a Sunday dinner spread, the way only she could make it. Glory Foods will make that a reality as they bring their Sunday Dinner Every Day mobile tour to the Southern Women’s Show at The Park in Charlotte, Sept. 17-20.

The Sunday Dinner Every Day mobile tour is hosted in Charlotte by nationally acclaimed Chef Jernard Wells, Sr., Executive Chef at Bon Appetite Bistro (Ringgold, GA), and local restaurateurs, Lucius and Martine Johnson of Bite Your Tongue Cajun Restaurant (1928 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC 28207). The mobile tour was created to resemble and elicit fond memories of a grandmother’s dining room complete with samples of Glory Foods’ delicious Southern-style products such as collard greens, green beans, skillet corn and candied yams.

“We want Southern Women’s Show attendees to know that with Glory Foods you can get homemade Southern-style taste with ease and convenience. It’s like having Sunday dinner every day,” said Jacqueline Neal, President of Glory Foods. “We know that everyone who tries our products this weekend will feel the same way.”

In the spirit of giving back to the community, Glory Foods is holding a food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (500-B Spratt, Charlotte, NC 28206). Glory Foods encourages Southern Women’s Show attendees to bring canned food items to the Show and drop them off at the Sunday Dinner Every Day mobile tour (booths 1322 and 1326). Glory Foods will also donate the remaining cans that were not used during this event to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to help families in need for the upcoming holiday season.
